Lives and works in London.
He studied at Camberwell School of Art, London, where he also worked as a teacher.
Leaman is an admirer of detailed narrative paintings from the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries; his work is crammed with meaning and incident, both emotional and spiritual.
He has had solo exhibitions atTel Aviv Museum of Art, Israel; and several times at Beaux Arts, London. He has also participated in group shows at Tate Britain, London; and at art fairs such as The London Contemporary Art Fair, Art Miami, among many more.
Some of his works belong to The Tate Gallery, London; Tel Aviv Museum of Art; and to private collections in Belgium, Ireland, Mexico, Switzerland and the UK.
