Nacimiento, miradas en el tiempo (2017)

Fundación AMMA in collaboration with the Government of the State of Mexico through Secretaría de Cultura and Centro Cultural Mexiquense Bicentenario, presented the exhibition Nacimiento, miradas en el tiempo in Texcoco, State of México.

The exhibition Nacimiento, miradas en el tiempo presented part of the Fundación Amparo y Manuel (AMMA) collection, made up of more than a thousand figures of painted clay (figurative-expressionist style), together make up 50 biblical passages from the Old and New Testaments. The scenes are represented with gestures, polychromy, verisimilitude and dynamism.

The "Nacimiento Amparo Espinosa Rugarcía" was exhibited at the Centro Cultural Mexiquense Bicentenario from November 10, 2017 to February 2, 2018. Was carried out by the artisan Felipe Nieva (Orizaba, Veracruz) during the first half of the 20th century.

This exhibition was accompanied by a contemporary sound piece created by the artist Francisco Eme, as well as by a photographic installation of the collection's characters, it´s a complement the aesthetic experience.
